Maruti Suzuki To Introduce Extra Features in Ertiga And XL6
Amid its collaboration with Japanese carmaker Toyota Motors for sharing its technology, country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited is also paying equal attention to update its portfolio. According to recent reports apart from sharing the technology used in Ciaz for replacing Yaris from Toyota Motors, the Indo-Japanese carmaker is also working on introducing the next generation of Celerio hatchback in the country. With this it also rumoured that company is also working on upgrading its MPV range. Among all these reports, it is also being said that company is also planning to introduce new features in its best selling MPV Ertiga and XL6.

The decision regarding the introduction of new features in both these vehicles has been taken because of incresing competition in the segment. As far as the integration of new features in both these cars are concerned it is believed that this will include wireless charging for smartphones, airbags,large tyres, and a few more.
Speaking about the mechanical changes there are no reports regarding any change and both Ertiga and XL6 will be continued with the existing engine of a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine t hat churns the power of 103 bhp and the torque of 138Nm. The transmission duties will be performed with options of both five-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmission system.
