Maruti Suzuki To Launch Its Micro SUV In 2019

After showcasing the Future S Concept SUV during the Indian Auto Expo 2018, country’s leading car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has moved ahead towards its production and is speculated to launch it sometime during the next year. Talking about the Future S Concept, identically it will look like an SUV with enlarged bonnet followed by broad haunches. It will have the length and wheelbase outsourced from the Ignis hatchback, and is believed to enjoy tax benefits offered to the compact SUV Vitara Brezza and other vehicles with the length less than four meters. However, look wise the Future S concept will be smaller than Vitara Brezza and will be placed in the hatchback segment.

Under the hood, at the time of launch, it will be offered with 1.2 litre petrol engine, and will be placed in the lines of Swift, Celerio and WagonR hatchbacks. It is believed to be priced with the starting price of Rs. 5 lakh. As far as other features are concerned it is believed to be offered with seats positioned as high position, high mounted lights, vertical A-pillar and big wheel arches and various other features that will help in giving a look similar to a compact SUV.
 
With Future S concept it is clear that now the country’s leading car maker is planning to strengthen its position in the SUV segment, which according to the recent trends is highly preferred by the car enthusiasts.
