Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza caught during test drive

After successful end of 2015 with huge success enjoyed with launch of Baleno hatchback, country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited is all set to launch its highly awaited compact SUV Vitara Brezza soon in Indian car market. According to industry reports Indo-Japanese car makers might launch the vehicle most probably sometimes during next month. Recently spies caught its base variant completely uncovered being tested on road giving complete idea about its difference from the top end variant which was showcased during the recently concluded Indian Auto Expo 2016.

The compact SUV is reported to be offered in diesel version which would be empowered with 1.3 litre DDiS diesel engine boosting the power of 88.3 bhp and torque of 200Nm and mated with five speed manual gear transmission system. Interestingly the same engine is offered in Baleno hatchback. Well coming to the features that have been witnessed during the test drive, according to spies at first instance  the base variant carries almost the same appearance as offered in top end variant ZDI+ but after watching it intensively you will notice that it does not carry same types of accessories as offered in top end variant.  The base variant does not embellish alloy wheels, chrome plated front grille, LED DRLs, projector head lamps and fog lamps.

Moving ahead the unit of Vitara Brezza showcased during the Auto Expo was painted in dual color scheme followed by ORVMs with turn indicators mounted on it. On the contrary base variant spied had single color treatment. However it carries some features like black colored plastic cover across the body, roof rails, and front and rear skid plate.
