Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza: To debut on March 21, 2016
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza the first ever and highly awaited compact SUV from leading car maker MSIL will finally kiss the roads on March 21, 2016. According to reports many dealers across the country have already started receiving the bookings of this compact SUV, the official booking however will begin from first week of next month. The Indo-Japanese car maker had showcased vehicle during recently concluded Indian Auto Expo 2016.
On the power front it will sport 2.0 litre DDiS diesel engine that will generate the power of 88.5 bhp at 4,000 rpm and torque of 20-0 Nm at 1,750 rpm. The engine will be coated with five speed manual gear transmission system. It is reported that in future after assessing the performance of diesel variant company might also offer its petrol variant along with AMT transmission system. The compact SUV will be offered in overall six trims LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi and ZDi+.
The design of compact SUV has been developed for first time in India by R&D of Maruti headed by Mr. C.V. Raman, Chief Engineer and is speculated to be priced between Rs. 5.5 lakh and Rs. 8.2 lakh. After launch in Indian car market the compact SUV will take against recently launched Mahindra TUV300 and Ford EcoSport in segment.
