Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza to debut tomorrow
Finally the wait for first compact SUV Vitara Brezza by Indo-Japanese car makers Maruti Suzuki will come to end after its launch in Indian car market tomorrow on March 8, 2016 despite of launching on March 21, 2016 as reported earlier. Showcased during the Indian Auto Expo 2016 Vitara Brezza is result of five years hard work with 98% of its development being conducted in India. It is expected to be priced between Rs. 6 lakh and Rs. 9 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi) and its delivery will begin from March 21, 2016. To be empowered with diesel engine the compact SUV will be available in four trims LDI, VDI, ZDI and ZDI+.

Under the hood it will sport1.3 litre four cylinder DDiS diesel engine similar to one offered in S-Cross crossover boosting the power of 88.5 bhp and torque of 200Nm. Engine will be mated with five speed manual gear box and it is speculated that company might also offer AMT system also in market. Information regarding introduction of AMT system was given by Mr. C.V. Raman, Executive Director, R&D, MSIL saying that company is also planning to offer its AMT version. As far petrol version is concerned it reported to offered in coming future. The compact SUV is said to deliver fuel efficient performance of 24.3 kmpl.

With an objective to keep its contenders in dust MSIL has equipped Vitara Brezza with bunch of remarkable features including touchscreen infotainment system with SmartPlay and Apple CarPlay, reverse parking camera, cruise control, navigation system with Mapcare, ABS+EBD, keyless entry, dual air bags, push button start and many more. After launch it will compete against Mahindra TUV300 and Ford EcoSport.
