Maruti Suzuki YRA caught again by spies
It has been long time there has not been any exciting news coming out from the bag of country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited. But nothing can be hidden from the eyes of spies and making their name true spies have again witnessed company’s upcoming hatchback YRA being tested on roads. According to reports the front fascia of YRA carries most of its resemblance of its predecessor Swift, although it will be bigger than Swift.
The hatchback is speculated to be offered in both petrol and diesel trims which would be empowered with 1.2 litre or 1. Litre K-series petrol engine and 1.3 litre multijet diesel engine. Both the engines may be offered with five speed manual transmission system. With this it is also expected that going through the increasing demand of automatic vehicles company may also offer AMT transmission system in few of its variants.
It should be remembered that so far nothing has been officially disclosed by car maker about the features and all the features are based on reports received from spies and speculation made by industry experts. The hatchback is supposed to touch the Indian roads by the end of this year and will compete against Fiat Punto, Volkswagen Polo , upcoming Honda Jazz and Hyundai Elite i20.
