Maruti Suzuki YRA hatchback to be offered with CVT system
After successful launch of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz in Indian car market last year, country’s leading car maker Maruti Suzuki India is all set to bring its two new up-comings in form of YRA hatchback and S-Cross crossover soon in Indian car market. Both the cars have been witnessed being tested on Indian roads at several occasions creating buzz among Indian car enthusiasts and making them eager to get themselves updated with every news associated with both these vehicles.
According to recent reports the upcoming premium hatchback YRA would be offered in both petrol and diesel with three engine options of 1.25-liter and 1.4 litre K Series petrol engine followed by 1.3 litre DDiS diesel engine. Moving ahead the reports also reveal that 1.25 litre petrol engine would be mated with five speed transmission system and also with option of continuously variable transmission (CVT) system. After launch the premium hatchback will compete against Hyundai Elite i20 and Honda Jazz. It is speculated to be launched during festival of Diwali.
The reports also suggest that this hatchback will be embellished with some remarkable features including steering mounted controls for audio and cruise control, climate control, touchscreen infotainment system, airbag deactivation button, central arm rest for first row passengers and heated front seats etc.
