Maruti Swift, Alto, SX4, Wagon R, Dzire car prices increased
Maruti cars in India have now become dearer from Rs 4000 to Rs 17,000 and from Monday you have to pay more to get your dream family cars from the company. This price hike was anticipated and announced by the company a few days back. Due to the hike in excise duty on cars in Union Budget, Maruti Alto, Maruit Swift, Maruti Swift Dzire, Maruti Wagon R have become costlier. According to Mr Mayank Pareek, Maruti India’s Managing Executive Office-Marketing and Sales, Maruti cars are now attract upto 1.75 per cent more owning price.
As a result of this announcement, Maruti Swift price is added by Rs 7700 to Rs 11900; New Maruti Swift Dzire gets additional Rs 8500 to Rs 12700; Maruti Alto 800cc and Alto K10 are dearer by Rs 4200 to Rs 5900 and Rs 5500 to Rs 5700 respectively. Apart from that Maruti’s one of the best selling Wagon R gets the heat of price hike in form of Rs 6000 to Rs 7600. The Maruti SX4 mid size sedan now becomes expensive with add on cost from Rs 9400 to Rs 17000.
