Toyota Prius average per kilometer running cost comes just 49 cents which is just half the expense on an average car. But can there be a car that can be cheaper than that. Yes, there could be one and it will be in India. Schaeffler, German automotive component supplier has recently unveiled a concept car that can be called as the most Efficient Future Mobility car. The giant has used Maruti Swift to develop its concept on and during the course of boosting the efficiency, the component supplier has imbibed so many features that have not only made the car efficient but has not compromised with performance or safety in the course. Notably, Swift is one of the already popular car and if Schaeffler can come up with its efficient version it will be the best option for car buyers in the country.
It is important to know that this German company supplies automotive parts to various car makers in the country including Maruti and Hyundai. As per the details available, the car uses some advance features compared to its factory fitted components such as the drivetrain. The introduction of new technology has not only led the car to have high fuel economy but it has also increased the comfort and performance of the car.
It is said that if the car enters real production with such changes on, the car will literally fill the volume chart with awe. As per the details, the concept car has been designed specifically to Indian needs and matches exactly to Indian driving conditions. The car has engine start stop technology besides an electronic clutch and so many new technologies making the engine more performance driven with frugality. The price of this car is yet not declared as it is at the concept stage and hopefully once it arrives at production stage then only some price numbers will be worth.

Congratulations to Schaeffler for this wonderful innovation. Schaeffler has already stated in the North American International Auto Show that it will produce car that will reduce fuel efficiency by 15%. But producing the one with 10% fuel efficiency is a great achievement for the company and I believe this will be of great benefit to the people of India because this will reduce their fuel consumption. Apart from that, this will also increase revenue generation of the company and contribute to the growth and development of the company in no small measure.
