Maruti Swift Sport SZ-R limited edition launched
The Tata Vista D90 rocks with its Quadrajet engine and the Fiat Punto Sport 90bhp diesel is also enjoying its feast. Now is the turn of Hyundai i20 and Maruti Swift to come up with their high power sports car lookalike variants. The Swift Sport is already a hit in Australia and recently, Maruti parent Suzuki has launched Swift Sport SZ-R variant in UK. This is a limited edition car and has a lot of features as well as a lot of visible sporty features on the inside. The price of the Swift Sport SZ-R in UK is £14,249 which is around Rs 11.63 lakh in India currency.
In fact, this limited edition is not at all costly than the regular variant and it is only pricier by £500 which is just a nominal price. As compared to the features that the new car has, this price is nothing and anybody could pay for it but alas! Only 100 such units will be produced so this edition will be high in demand but only 100 fortunate ones will be able to behind the wheels of this sporty looking genie.
In addition to sporty exteriors and dual colored exteriors with red colored roof, the sports machines is a sure buy for the sports car lovers. Apart from the dual tone colors outside, the car has 17 inch wheels and projector type headlamps that further make it sportier than ever. Cruise control, USB connectivity and over seven airbags are what to look for besides the external appearance. The car is powered by 1.6 L petrol engine but the power output has been stretched to 136 hp. Thus the 0-100 kmph sprint becomes achievable under 9 seconds and it can have a top speed of 194 kmph. Hope this car enters India as well.
