Maruti Swift, Swift Dzire and Ertiga to have their prime rivals soon
Maruti cars – Maruti Alto 800, Maruti Swift, Maruti Swift Dzire and Maruti Ertiga are the best selling cars in their respective segments. If these are the best, these are bound to have rivals that aspire to dethrone these. Among others, Honda, Ford and Hyundai are all set to pose some serious competition to these cars. Honda has already brought the Honda Amaze compact sedan to rival Swift Dzire and soon there will be Ford Ecosport coming in as a better option to Maruti Ertiga. Meanwhile Hyundai is also all set to launch a premium hatchback Hyundai i30 in India and will also strengthen i20 hatchback sales to counter Swift.

However, Maruti is aware of the rising and it has already decided to set things right. The Swift Dzire mileage show off campaign organized in many metros and prominent cities of the country is an example of this after the Amaze launch. Honda has propagated that its new diesel car Amaze is the highest mileage (25.8 kmpl) car. In order to counter the claims, Maruti organized a survey in which users confirmed more than 30 kmpl mileage delivery by Swift Dzire. Meanwhile, there are other cars coming in the Indian car bazaar that are going to dent the sales of these popular Maruti cars. These include Chevrolet Enjoy MPV launching soon and Mahindra Vibe small car in addition to some surprise entries.
Whatever tall claims the new cars make, Maruti cars are still the most trusted cars in India. This is the reason why no other car maker is able to climb to the number one car maker’s position till date in the India car industry. Value for money, high mileage and very low maintenance cost are some of the plus that have made Maruti cars as the most trusted ones in the country.
