Mercedes Benz B Class, the cheapest luxury car in market by German car maker Mercedes Benz India will soon be offered with diesel engine choice too. Right now this popular luxury hatchback is available with 1.6L petrol engine choice only but very soon a diesel fuel run model will be introduced to Indian customers. Mercedes Benz has recently announced that along with launch of its cheapest sports hatchback Mercedes Benz A Class they launch this the much awaited diesel model of the B Class sports hatchback.

It is announced that till 2015 the company has plans to bring out five new Mercedes Benz cars in India in various segments to lure the customers. In first quarter of this year Mercedes has driven past its competitor BMW in domestic market, in terms of sales. And now, to manage the numero position it is working fast and introducing the innovative budget friendly premium vehicles.

Mercedes Benz India will launch the A Class hatchback in both petrol and diesel model while the B Class sports hatchback will have a new diesel engine version. The new A Class sports hatchback will empower 1.6L petrol and 1.8L diesel engine units. In next few months, the company will start assembling of these premium vehicles at their Chakan based production plant. Meanwhile, the popular MFA platform based CLA sedan and the GLA crossover will be offered to Indian customers by 2015.
