Mercedes Benz B Class launching tomorrow

In order to near its return to the top slot, German luxury car maker Mercedes Benz is seriously doing some effort. Tomorrow it will be launching the Mercedes Benz B Class Sports Tourer. Where the new Mercedes car will be creating a new segment, the car will also be the most affordable car by the car maker. The car is expected to be priced around Rs 25 lakh and it is far cheaper in price than the Mercedes Benz C Class which was till now the entry level car by Mercedes in India. With the creation of a new segment, it is expected that other rivals such as Audi and BMW will be trying hard to enter the segment with some highly attractive offerings.

As per the official release, the car is a mix of SUV, MUV and sedan. It is said to have the power of an SUV, the adaptability of MUV and the comfort and driving pleasure of a sedan. This way it will be an all new class that will be set up by the car maker. Notably, the car maker has already unveiled the car on July 19 at the Buddh Circuit and has shown its agility, comfort and maneuverability as well as convenience to the selected few. Now that the car is about to be launched, it is expected that it will have unprecedented bookings on the first day of its launch.

The 1.6 L engine has 121 bhp power and it is a petrol car. However, at this price range petrol or diesel lose their worth and it is power, convenience and drive comfort that are given importance rather than mileage or fuel factors. It is said that over 70,000 units of the car are sold worldwide and its launch in India is expected to add some decent figure to the tally.
