Mercedes Benz C180 BlueEfficiency launched
Mercedes Benz has launched a new C Class model variant. Though the launch was not organized in a big way and thus a major section of the auto industry remained unaware about this development. The launch that took place in Malaysia has added a new Mercedes Benz C 180 BlueEfficiency model to the lineup. This Audi A4 rival car is one of the best selling Mercedes cars and the new model is expected to make it much more attractive. The C Class price in India starts at Rs 28.56 lakh and is available in diesel and petrol variants.

The C 180 BlueEfficiency model is also not available in India and it is expected that after the Malaysia launch, the car maker could launch it in India as well. This will bring the price of the car down. In Malaysia, the C Class 180BlueEfficiency price is less than all other models.

As per the latest updates, the new model C 180 BlueEfficiency of the Mercedes C Class car will be an addition to the existing lineup that includes the Mercedes Benz C Class C 200 CGI, Mercedes Benz C Class C 220 CDI and Mercedes Benz C Class C 250 CDI. In order keep the supply intact and rock bottom price, Mercedes will be assembling the new model in Malaysia. The new Mercedes car is expected to give a fresh boost to the car sales in Malaysia that is fast catching up on luxury cars despite of being a predominantly MPV market.

Among other feature cuts, the new C Class model lacks the speed response steering and there is no rear screen electric roller blind. Besides, the new model also lacks the bi-Xenon headlamps and the interiors are black or grey in color. In addition to this, the price cut has taken its toll on some features but the car still retains the 17 inch alloys and the ECO start/stop technology.
