Mercedes Benz CLA 45 AMG launching on July 22, 2014
As reported earlier German luxurious car maker Mercedes Benz will launch ten new luxurious cars in Indian car market during the ongoing year. Recently after launching Edition 1 of it’s A and B Class sedan to celebrate successful existence in Indian car market and CLS 350 in India, company has announced to launch the new luxurious sedan CLA45 AMG on July 22, 2014 in Indian car market. Prior to this the car maker had showcased the sedan during Indian Auto Expo 2014 and also during the New York Auto Show held in April last year.
The CLA 45 AMG is empowered with 2.0 litre direct injection turbocharged 4 cylinder petrol engine and mated with 7 speed A<G SPEEDSHIFT transmission system. The engine generates the power of 355 horsepower and torque of 45 Nm, accelerating the speed from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and top speed of 250km/h. Company endorses that the sedan will deliver the fuel efficient performance of 14.08 kmpl. As far as price of CLA 45 AMG is concerned it is speculated to be launched with price tag of falling between Rs. 40 lakh and Rs. 50 lakh.
It would be interested to learn that with an objective to make CLA 45 AMG popular among premium class buyers company has tried to give it aerodynamic look that compared to other CLA vehicles. Apart from this company has made the new car by making use of carbon fibre which helps in reducing the weight of sedan. In India the vehicle would be brought through completely built unit.
