Mercedes-Benz Explores The AMG Family With Two New Members
German luxurious car maker Mercedes-Benz has introduced two new models in AMG family. The newly launched members are christened as AMG GLA 45 and AMG CLA 45 and priced Rs. 75.20 lakh and Rs. 77.85 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). Along with the standard versions the car maker has also launched their special editions named as Aero Edition and are offered with the price tag of Rs. 77.69 lakh for CLA Aero Edition and Rs. 80.67 lakh GLA Aero Edition, both the prices are also ex-showroom prices in New Delhi. Both the new members in AMG family undergo vast cosmetic changes. With these two new models the German car maker has now 7 AMG cars running on Indian roads.
Mechanically both the cars are empowered with 2 litre Bi-Turbo petrol engine generating the power of 375 bhp and torque of 475 Nm. The transmission duties in both the cars will be performed by AMG SpeedShift DCT 7 Speed sports system as standard feature. The engine of both the cars is assisted by 4 Matic all wheel drive system that facilitates the GLA 45 to touch the mark of 100 kmph from standstill in the span of 4.4 seconds and CLA 45 in 4.2 seconds.
On the exterior front both AMG GLA 45 and AMG CLA 45 receive glossy black paint work with yellow headlights for both the front and rear bumpers. Along with this it also adorns matte black racing stripe crossing across the hood, roof and the boot. Moving ahead the eye catching graphics on both the sides helps in enhancing the sportier appearance of both the vehicles.
Inside the cabin you will find AMG styled black interiors with red contract lines and stitching across the dashboard, leather seats and side panels. The sporty seats are developed to offer relaxing driving experience to the driver. The infotainment system supports connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and MirrorLink.
