Mercedes Benz G63 AMG to launch tomorrow
Mercedes Benz India is all set to surprise its fans with another high class model. The car maker is geared up to launch Mercedes Benz G63 AMG in the Indian car bazaar tomorrow, i.e. 19th Feb 2013. The price tag attached to it hasn’t been revealed so far, but according to our reliable resources, the German Auto Major might launch this one with a very hefty price tag of Rs. 1.25 crore. The cost of the car might seem very high, but this off-roader is expected to be worth every little penny that you will be spending on it. Furthermore, this being a face-lifted model, a lot of cosmetic changes along with a bit of technical ones will be seen here.

Starting with the tech-specs- the new Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is going to be powered by 5.5-Litre Twin Turbocharged Direct Injected V8 motor, which promises to deliver high power output of around 536HP along with churning out maximum torque of 760Nm. what makes the performance enhanced and amplified here is the 7-Speed AMG Speed Shift Plus 7G-TRONIC transmission that will facilitate the car to touch the 100kmph speed mark from zero in merely 5.4 seconds along with a top speed of 210 kmph. Impressive isn’t it? Besides augmenting the performance, the fuel economy will also be boosted to 13.8 litre per 100 km.
Moving on from the technical part, the new Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG off-roader SUV will come with many other attractive features. Some of the highlighting ones comprise of Parktronic parking aid, trailer stability assist, reworked stability control, adaptive cruise control, hill-hold function, blind spot assist and so on. On the outside as well, Merc has left no stone unturned and make this new off-roader utterly attractive. The new front bumper with redesigned front grille and exhaust would amplify the overall appearance.
In India, in past couple of months, Mercedes Benz hasn’t come up with anything interesting or new. With the launch of G63 AMG, the dipped reputation of the car maker could be restored and the position can further be strengthened with the future launches. The car maker is ready to bring Mercedes Benz A Class hatchback, Mercedes Benz B Class and Mercedes Benz CLA Sedan to India in the second half of this year. All these will certainly aid the firm to get back to the top spot and achieve its sales target without any trouble.
