Mercedes-Benz launches 450 AMG Coupe, priced Rs. 86.4 lakh
After making its promise of “15 of 2015” German luxurious car maker Mercedes Benz today started its journey for “12 in 2016” in Indian car market by launching 450 AMG Coupe with price tag of Rs. 86.4 lakh (ex-showroom price). Empowered with 2996cc V6 twin turbocharged engine boosting the power of 362 bhp at 5500-6000 rpm and torque of 520Nm at 1800-4200 rpm and mated with 9G-Tronic automatic transmission system. The coupe is capable for touching the mark of 100 kmph from standstill in the span of 5.7 seconds with top notch of 250 kmph. In Indian car market the 450 AMG Coupe will be brought through completely built-up unit (CBU).
On exterior the Coupe embellishes broad grille with glossy black slats followed by black colored ORVMs with turn indicators mounted on it. Moving ahead the front bumper receives enlarged air dam followed by rear bumper equipped with dual exhausts with chrome garnish. The side profile receives 21 inch AMG twin 5 spoke alloy wheels.
Physically GLE 450 AMG Coupe has length of 4,891mm, width of 2.003mm, height of 1,719 mm and wheelbase of 2,915mm. Initially GLE 450 AMG is modified version of GLE SUV and after launch in Indian car market it will compete against BMW X6 and Audi Q5.
