German car maker Mercedes Benz has launched its most expensive and armored car Maybach S600 Guard in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 10.50 Crore (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). This new Maybach is the third product from car maker which has been launched with Maybach Badge and one of the twelve products determined by German car maker for launch in Indian car market during this year.  The heart of this stylish car is empowered with 6.0 litre twin turbo V12 engine boosting the power of 523 bhp and torque of 830Nm. The armored car is capable of touching the mark of 100 kmph from standstill in the span of 7.9 seconds and top speed of 190 km/h.

 

 

Talking about the features that are adorned in this expensive car are impenetrable and developed strictly to provide complete security to VVIPs with its VR10 protection. At first look it simply looks like general S class sedan but the features it bestows will make you bite your nails undoubtedly. The car is capable of not only facing the bullets happily but also offer protection to passengers from blasts, explosions, grenade attacks and fire. The windows of car are coated with polycarbonate garnish and integration of armoring products inside the car protects its from all sorts of explosions. Moving ahead interiors have been developed to protect the passengers from gas attacks which are made by injecting gas in air. Apart from this other safety features offered in S600 Guard include opaque roller blinds across the rear portion, panic alarm system, hydraulic power for side windows, automatic fire extinguisher system, and heated windscreen and side windows.

 

 

Besides above mentioned safety features the wheels of car are covered with specially developed PAX run flat tyres making car to run even at zero pressure at the speed of 30 km/h for almost 18 miles. It would be interested to know that along with this self healing fuel tank is capable of getting itself protected from fire in every condition.
