Mercedes Benz launches S400 with price tag of Rs. 1.31 Crore
German luxurious car maker Mercedes Benz today introduced a new model S400 under the flagship of its S Series luxurious sedan, with price tag of Rs. 1.31 crore (ex-showroom price, Hyderabad). The luxurious sedan was launched launched by Roland Folger, managing director and CEO, Mercedes Benz India. Empowered with 3 litre, V6 petrol engine generating the power of 333 bhp and torque of 480Nm, the engine adorns 7G-Tronic plus transmission system. According to reports the production of S400 will be commenced in India.
The major attractions of S400 are large aggressive front grille, panoramic sunroof and LED headlamps, inside the cabin it receives superior quality leather seats, leather coverings on door panels and centre console, ambient lighting system and 3D surround sound system. Apart from this other additional features offered in S400 are eight airbags, dynamic cornering control system, hill start assist system, electronic stability program, active park assist system, adaptive brake with hold function and active park assist system.
