Mercedes Benz records growth of 32% in 2013
Mercedes Benz India, the Indian arm of German car maker Mercedes Benz is reported to record growth of 32 percent during the period from January to December 2013. According to sales reports revealed by company it sold out 9003 units during the period of January to December 2013 against 6840 units sold during the same period of 2012.
According to Mr. Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, company is satisfied with its current performance which according to company was an offensive year. According to Mr. Kern, company is satisfied with performance of its recent launches including new A and E class cars. He also added that customers of Benz have shown their trust in company and Mercedes Benz promises to deliver the same excellent service during the year 2014.
During the first half of year 2013 company recorded growth of 16% which grown to 45% during the second half of the gone year. Apart from delivering quality products to customers company also extended its dealership network in cities of New Delhi, Baroda, Coimbatore, Noida, Gurgaon, Rajkot, New Mumbai, Lucknow and Pune. With this company also initiated programs like My Mercedes and established Centre of Excellence at its production plant located in Pune.
