Mercedes-Benz Road Map for 2017
It is reported that in recent meeting of investors, German car maker Mercedes-Benz has disclosed its plan for coming year 2017. According to future plan revealed by carmaker it will launch around eleven vehicles throughout the coming year, out of which there would be facelift versions of Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Mercedes-Benz GLA. Recently the prototypes of both these vehicles have been witnessed being going through the test drives in Stuttgart city of Germany. From the pictures captured by spies it is seen that in its next generation S-Class will be equipped with LED head lamps with newly developed LED DRL design, stardust effect taillights, and newly developed front and rear bumpers and grille.
Inside the cabin it will receive three spoke multi-functional steering wheel, newly developed touchpad for COMAND system, new stitching and upholstery, unified COMAND and Driver displays. Interestingly, along with cosmetic changes the S-Class will also receive mechanical update in form of new inline six petrol engine mated with 48 V mild hybrid system. The transmission duty will be controlled by 9G-TRONIC nine speed automatic gearbox system. It is speculated that German car maker will introduce this model sometimes during the middle of next year.
Talking about Mercedes-Benz GLA Class, it would be interested to know that developed of MFA platform it was another best performing vehicle by car maker after A-Class, which also was developed on same concept. It is believed that on the exteriors the new GLA Class will adorn changes like newly developed LED headl amps and DRLs followed by LED Tail lamps. Whereas, inside the cabin there will be minimum changes in form of new color treatment, newly developed COMMAN infotainment system and new dashboard and few more.
