Mercedes to launch ML 63 AMG on May 15, 2014 in Indian car market
Mercedes Benz India, the Indian arm of German car maker Mercedes Benz is going to launch its new product in AMG series named as ML 63 AMG in Indian car market on May 15, 2014. The launch will be made by Mr. Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes Benz India. The upcoming luxurious ML 63 AMG will be empowered with 5.5 litre V8 Bi-turbo engine developing the power of 525 horsepower and torque of 700 Nm and will be coated with A<G Speedshift 7G Tronic auto gearbox. The vehicle is being launched to compete against Porsche Macan Turbo and Range Rover Sport.
It is reported that the 5.5 litre V8 Bi-turbo engine will be able to accelerate the top speed of 250 kmph and will pick the speed of 100 kmh from standstill within the span of 4.8 seconds. The SUV in Indian car market would be brought through CBU route and is expected to be launched with price tag of Rs. 1.4Crore (ex-showroom price in New Delhi) which would be lesser than its sibling Mercedes Benz GL 63 AMG which is offered with price tag of Rs. 1.66 crore (ex-showroom price in Mumbai). The power to front wheels will be transmitted through 4MATIC system.
Industry experts believe that company will offer ML 63 AMG with huge fleet of various remarkable features offered in the interiors of this luxurious SUV followed by integration of few additional features on the exteriors which will be helpful in given its more sportier and rugged looks along with high defined luxurious and comfort features.
