MG Motors Share More Details Of Comet EV
MG Motor India has revealed more details about the upcoming launch of its new electric vehicle, the Comet EV. The company announced that the Comet EV will come equipped with a range of advanced features, including an Intelligent Tech Dashboard system with intuitive controls and seamless connectivity. The centrepiece of the system will be a floating widescreen display with two 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment and instrument cluster. The infotainment system will also offer voice commands and customizable pages.
The interior of the vehicle will be finished with a trim-tone theme that includes black, beige, and silver finishes, and the two-spoke steering wheel will have physical buttons on either side to operate different functions. The Comet EV will be available in two different battery packs of 20 kWh and 25 kWh, offering claimed range figures of between 150 km to 200 km on a full charge. The battery packs will feature lightweight LFP (Lithium-iron Phosphate) chemistry, which provides a longer lifespan and lower discharge of energy.
The Comet EV is set to become the second fully electric offering from MG Motor in India. The expected price range for the vehicle is between Rs 10 to Rs 11 lakh bracket. The launch date is just a few days away, and anticipation is high for this exciting new addition to India's electric vehicle market.
