MG To Empower Comet With JIO Connected Features
According to recent reports, the electric hatchback Comet from MG Motors India will be empowered by Jio-connected features and voice commands. The Indian alliance of China-based SAIC Motors has entered into a collaboration with Jio Digital for integrating these features in the Comet EV. In a press release issued by the carmaker, the buyers of Comet will enjoy some interesting features like Hinglish Voice Assistant system supporting connectivity with music applications, payment applications, and multiple connectivity platforms. All these features are offered for the first time in any car in the country.
In an official statement issued by the company, it is mentioned that Hello Jio Voice Assistant is trained by an Indian speaker with the ability to speak in multiple Indian languages spoken across the country. The system will also keep the buyers updated about the weather, cricket, current affairs and horoscope and the air conditioner on or off, playing songs, and many other commands according to his needs.
Commenting on MG’s collaboration with Jio Digital, Gaurav Gupta, Deputy Managing Director, said that in the current scenario technology and innovation are two major attributes for integrating new features in the automobile industry. He also added that nowadays, manufacturers are mainly focussing on the increasing use of software-controlled devices and their venture with Jio digital motor aims to establish MG Motor as a techno-savvy company in the automobile industry. Gupta firmly believes that the integration of new connected features will enhance the driving experience of GezZ customers, ensuring their strong safety.
