MG ZS SUV Slated For Launch In Mid Of 2021
It seems the British carmaker MG does not want to leave any stone unturned to keep the Indian car lovers surprising with an array of new products in 2021. According to recent media reports the British carmaker, MG is all set of launch the ZS SUV in the Indian car market during the second half of the next year. Before this, the carmaker is ready to launch the facelift versions of Hector and the Hector Plus in the Indian car market in January 2021.
It is also reported that after the launch of ZS SUV in the country, the carmaker will launch an MPV in India by the end of 2021 or at the beginning of 2022. The company had revealed the same MPV during the Indian Auto Expo 2020. After the launch in the Indian car market, the MPV will go against the Mahindra Marazzo and the proposed MPVs from the Korean car maker Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors.

Under the hood, the ZS SUV is speculated to be offered with a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Along with this, it could also be offered with an option of a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine boosting the power of 160PS. As far as the features offered in this mid-sized SUV are concerned inside the cabin it will receive a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system that supports connectivity to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 360-degree camera, air conditioner, piano-style control buttons on the central console, panoramic sunroof, multi-functional steering wheel, air purifier, MG iSmart, digital instrument console, cruise control, powered driver seat, and many more.
On the exterior front, it will receive a new hexagonal grille with chrome garnished surroundings, refreshed bumper on the rear front, new front bumper with integrated LED headlamps, and the set of new LED tail-lamps. The version of MG ZS SUV slated for launch in the Indian car market will be the same as launched in the International car market in July this year. In India, it will be placed in competition with Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and Nissan Kicks.
