More Features Of Tata Altroz Turbo Surface Online
After the successful launch of premium hatchback Altroz in the Indian car market domestic carmaker, Tata Motor is all set to bring its turbocharged version during the upcoming festive season. The spies have seen the turbocharged Altroz being tested on the Indian roads on different occasions. According to sources, the Altroz Turbocharged will be empowered with a 1.2-litre 3 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, that is claimed to develop the power of 108 bhp at 5,500 rpm and the torque of 140Nm, at 1,500 to 5,000 rpm. The transmission duties will be performed by a five-speed manual gearbox.

Recently some more technical specifications of Tata Altroz have surfaced online. It is reported that along with a five-speed manual gear transmission system, the turbocharged Altroz hatchback might also receive a dual-clutch automatic gearbox. As the spied version of Altroz turbocharged was painted in blue colour, it is believed that the company might introduce it as a new colour option. Other notable features offered on the exterior front will include smoked tail-lamps, followed by black colour treatment offered on the rear front with ALTROZ logo studded on the tailgate. The new turbocharged petrol engine is speculated to be offered in the top-end variant of the existing line-up.
The version of Altroz is offered in both the petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant is powered with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine generating the power of 85 bhp and the torque of 113Nm. The diesel variant is equipped with a 1.5-litre, 4 cylinder engine, churning the power of 89 bhp and the torque of 200 Nm. The turbocharged version is believed to be priced slightly expensive than the existing version.
