MSIL launches Vitara Brezza, priced Rs. 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi)
Finally the leading car manufacturer today launched its much awaited compact SUV Vitara Brezza in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Launch of Vitara Brezza is expected to boost tough competition in its segment especially with strong contenders like Mahindra TUV 300 and Ford EcoSport. Empowered with 1.3 litre four DDiS 200 diesel engine similar to one offered in its sibling Ciaz and Sedan boosting the power of 66 kw and torque of 200Nm and mated with five speed manual gear transmission system.

It would be interested to know that where the earlier two offerings i.e, Baleno and S-Cross by Indo-Japanese car makers were sold through Nexa dealership, Vitara Brezza will be sold through regular dealers of MSIL. It hosts bunch of features like driver side air bags as standard feature followed by option of dual air bags, ABS and EBD on different trims. List of other features includes automatic projector headlamps, DRLs, ORVMs, touchscreen infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay, parking sensors and reverse parking camera.

Vitara Brezza is the first vehicle by car makers which has been specifically developed by team of Indian engineers under the supervision CV Raman, MSI Executive Director - Research and Development. According to reports 98% of development has been conducted by company at its Indian production house.
