MSIL rolls out 25,00,000 car from its Manesar plant in form of Maruti Swift ZXi
Country’s leading car manufacturing company MSIL dispatched its 25th lakh car from its production plant located at Manesar in Haryana. The 25th lakh unit to roll out from plant was ZXi trim of its popular hatchback Swift. The production plant of company at Manesar covers an area about 600 acres and production facility divided into three lines A, B and C. It has production capacity of 8 lakh units and at present company’s three popular products namely Swift, Dzire and Celerio are produced in this plant. It would be interested to know that this MSIL is the first car manufacturer company in country to achieve this landmark.

The production plant was manufactured involved an investment of Rs. 5,100 crores and has facilities like elevated degree of automation and robotic controls in press shop, weld shop and paint shop. Apart from this the carmaker also welcomes interesting ideas from employees regarding increasing of production capacity, quality improvement and safety. Moving ahead there are various check points maintained inside the production unit so as to assure that quality of all parts are checked intensively at every stage to offer qualitative products to prospective buyers of MSIL cars. Along with Manesar production unit company also has production facility at Gurgaon and both these production units together have so far dispatched 14 million units of different cars manufactured by company till date.
