MSIL to launch a competitive MPV against Toyota Innova
Where all leading car manufacturers mainly Toyota, Honda and Hyundai are making different strategies to break dominance of Maruti Suzuki in Indian car market by launching new fleet of small cars. Maruti Suzuki is designing new game plan to compete with its contenders. With increasing market of MPV’s in India MSIL is speculating to bring a new MPV under its flagship during financial year 2016-17.
According to reports the new MPV will be larger than company’s existing MPV Ertiga which succeeded in receiving appreciating response from customers. But it did not succeeded in placing tough competition in front of Toyota Innova which is blessed with huge power and space. The introduction of new MPV from MSIL will strengthen its position is market of MPV’s in India and will offer competition to Innova which still dominates the market of MPV’s since its inception.
The speculated MSIL MPV has been codenamed as RX and will be empowered with more powerful engine than compared to 1.2 litre DDis engine integrated in Ertiga. RX MPV will be an eight seater vehicle. According to authentic sources company had started working on this project since January this year on secret basis. The news regarding launch of new MPV got strengthen after confirmation from raw material suppliers of MSIL.
