MSIL Unleashes FutureS Concept Before The Indian Auto Expo 2018
Country’s leading car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited is going to showcase its new design philosophy FutureS during the upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2018. Recently the first teaser of the proposed design has been revealed by the Indo-Japanese car maker. From the first image revealed in the cyber world the concept FutureS has the compact design with SUV look. According to the sources of the company "compact is beautiful, #ConceptFutureS beautifully carries forward this Suzuki slogan and creates its own positioning by breaking away from the conventional proportions of a compact car.”. It is believed that the cars manufactured under the concept will go for the production soon after showcase during the show and will touch the Indian roads sometimes during the 2019.

It is reported that the new design philosophy would be followed on facelift versions of existing portfolio coming up in the future along with the new cars launched by the Indo-Japanese car makers. The new design carried high seats and substantial ground clearence, followed by horizontal hood resulting in completely a new look. The teaser revealed by the MSIL discloses the design of both compact and SUVs to be launched by company in future, especially the A-pillar which beautifully connects to the side sill.
Speaking about #Concept FutureS, Mr. C.V. Raman, Senior Executive Director, Engineering, MSIL, said, “The increasing preference for UVs and their bold architecture inspired our design team to study a new character for compact cars. ConceptFutureS could mark a distinctive shift in how compact cars are shaped and designed in India in the future.”
It is reported that the first developed on this concept will compete against Mahindra KUV100. The company sources said that the current market scenario is revolving around the concept and the company now wants to strengthen its space in this segment.
