New Audi A4 launch by 2014
The Germans seems to have set the ball rolling and keeping the line up as fresh as ever. Where Mercedes and BMW have launched the M Class SUV and the BMW 3 Series respectively and now reports are on that after a recent refresh of the Audi A4 model, the car maker will be launching the complete makeover in the next two years. Notably, the A4 sedan has been the best selling Audi car and the German car maker has done everything to keep it new by introducing facelifts, adding accessories and incorporating new features now and then. In India, the A4 sedan price starts at Rs 27.69 lakh and is among Audi’s best selling cars.

The efforts by Audi to keep its cars new are not in vain and the first quarter car sales figures for this fiscal have posed extremely well for the car maker. It is expected the at least in India, the car maker will be able to take the numero uno position soon overtaking BMW that has reported a drop in year on year sales growth. Some models have really help Audi register exceptional results this year and these significantly include Audi Q3 that is doing very well even if the giant BMW X1 is priced lower than it. Still the Q3 is able to prompt people to ‘start young’ as it targets the young entrepreneurs and the entry level car buyers in this segment.

Meanwhile the new A4 sedan has been the centre of attraction among Audi car buyers and it has given some tough time to the new BMW 3 Series launched by Sachin Tendulkar who has also become the brand ambassador of the Bavarian Motor Company in India. The entirely new A4 that is in the making will be as per sources information based on MLB Evo platform and it will help the car shed around 100 kgs. In addition to the weight loss, the new A4 will have performance and economy boosters as well. This will also improve the handling of the car. It will also have a new Hybrid system.
