New BMW 7 Series launched at Rs 92.9 lakh, delivers will start from May 1
German luxury car maker and luxury market leader BMW has launched the 2013 or facelifted version of the flagship luxury saloon BMW 7 Series in India. The new 2013 version of the 7 Series sedan come with minor tweaks on exteriors and interiors. The avatar of the vehicle has been made available in both petrol and diesel options. Price for the base variant of diesel model has been tagged at Rs 92.90 lakh while the top-end variant of petrol model goes to Rs 1.73 crore (Ex-showroom New Delhi). Bookings are now open and deliveries will commence from May 1st.

The new 2013 BMW 7 Series diesel model offers 730LD variant that is being assembled at BMW's Chennai plant while the more expensive variants of petrol model like 740Li, 750Li and 760Li will be available as CBUs (completely Built Units) which are priced at Rs 1.12 crore, Rs 1.29 crore and Rs 1.73 crore respectively.
The next generation version of the 7 series luxury saloon features more luxurious cabin, updated range of petrol and diesel engines and revised looks which prove it a real competitor of Mercedes Benz S Class, Jaguar XK and Audi A8. On the exterior, it gets front bumper, BMW’s signature corona rings having new LED headlamps, new kidney grille with fewer slats, new outside mirror design with stylish turn indicators and many more. Interiors of the vehicle have been re-freshed with slimmer front seats, new instrumentation console which includes a large TFT screen.
