New Fiat Punto, Linea launch in two years, more Fiat owned brand cars coming
It will be Fiat that will be creating a lot of sensation in the market in the coming 2-3 years. Where it will be giving a serious facelift or say complete model change to the existing Fiat Punto hatchback and Fiat Linea sedan, it will also be launching new cars from its brands including Jeep/Chrysler, Maserati and Alfa Romeo. It is believed that the Italian car maker will be targeting India so much and complete makeover of the Punto and Linea by 2014-15 will be the most sensational of all the car launches. In addition to this, the SUV launches under the Jeep or Chrysler brand will be worth additions to the lineup as the segment is getting much attention from car buyers.
The striking revelations came across when the Italian car giant has expresses its future strategy. Sensing the line up ahead, it seems that Fiat is actually in a hurry to capture a major section of the world market in various segments. It is believed that the addition of the new generations of the Punto and Linea will be the most significant additions for India. As these two models are the sole offerings in place currently, a facelift will revive the dwindling sales. yes, Fiat have to re-fresh both Punto and Linea because these do not have attractive exteriors. It should also bring something impressive like i20, Swift, Figo and Sail UVA.
