New gen Renault Clio test mule sneaked
Renault’s supermini car Renault Clio was seen covered with heavy camouflage for the very first time. The car is set to be launched soon and will be rendered as RenaultSport or Clio RS. Despite being covered with heavy camouflage, the car’s trademark racy styling parts were visible which made it quite clear that the car spotted was Renault Clio.

The racy styling parts of the hatch include a new front bumper with a broad grille placed a little low with a splitter that helps in improving the aerodynamics of the car along with side skirts, a tad bigger roof spoiler and a new bumper that inculcates a visible diffuser and a span of exhaust pipes, which are rectangular in shape are present on both the corners. The test mule spotted sported a larger and different alloy wheels clung on the mediocre tires that also gives hint about the beefier braking system.

The test mule had five doors since the new version of Renault Clio is speculated to be offered in a five door body style. Rear door handles will be hidden to give look of a three door body style. Bespoke suspension settings will be a part of the new Clio which will take advantage of the lighter platform. The current version’s 200PS, 2.0 litre mill will be replaced with a 1.6 litre turbocharged four pot petrol mill that will power above 200 ponies to the wheels present in the front.
