New Honda Accord expected to be launched in early 2013

By end of 2012, global automobile markets will witness the introduction of revamped Honda Accord; however on the Indian shores this mean machine would make its debut by early 2013. Few months back, this new Accord was spied on the roads of United States. It can be judged well that this new 2013 Accord will make its way first in the American territories, however the Indian launch seems to be somewhere in first quarter of 2013.

The company has just revealed the design of new Accord and claims it to be the most efficient and best designed Accord ever. Although, the 2013 Accord will be inspired from its previous generations, but the cosmetic changes and exterior trims will make it look different from its past generations. The front profile looks bit similar to the current Accord; however the headlamps are changed with the LED daytime running lights. Besides this, the projector beam headlights, fog lamps, honeycomb grille with air dams make this saloon look more stunning. Furthermore, the windshield is more declined to low down the aerodynamic drags, thereby improving the fuel economy.

In addition, the upcoming Accord has got well defined side claddings and bulge that makes it appear well crafted. However, the rear of this luxury sedan would remind you of the Toyota Camry that has got symmetric headlamps and sophisticated rear profile. The typical Honda boot and twin chrome exhausts leaves the impression of the past generations.

It will be very interesting to see what the car maker, Honda brings for the Indian buyers and to what extent the upcoming Indian Honda Accord will have resemblance with the US Accord. Expectations are raised from Honda that it would introduce the diesel variants to rise over other rivals like Skoda Superb, Volkswagen Passat and Hyundai Sonata. It might happen that the company might think of delaying the launch of this new Accord until and unless they are fully developed with a diesel in-line.
