New Honda Jazz and City diesel arriving by year end
Honda Siel Cars India Limited has already made announcement about the launch of new diesel car models in the country by near future. The company will also be offering diesel models to whole line-up. Its recently launched Honda Amaze compact sedan has been the bread-butter for the Japanese auto major. And now, it is speculated to bring out a diesel models for Honda City sedan and Jazz hatchback.

It is reported that next generation version of the Honda City will be unveiled by December this year while the next generation version of the popular premium hatchback, Jazz will also be launched by the end of this year. The new City is based on the platform of Jazz and it would be offered with diesel engine option to Indian customers. Meanwhile, the company would also offer the choice of diesel model in Jazz hatch.

Honda City diesel will have Honda's popular EarthDream technology based 1.5-litre i-DTEC engine under the hood which is currently doing duty in Amaze. It will also be offering the diesel engine model choice entry level hatchback Honda Brio and premium sedan, Honda Civic. Apart from this many of new car models will also be launched at global stage.
