New Maruti Swift 2011 launched in India, priced at Rs 4.22 lakh
Today on 17th August, India’s largest passenger car manufacturer and second largest passenger car exporter Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched its most awaited model, the all new Maruti Swift 2011 in the Indian auto market. The all new Maruti Swift will be priced in the range of Rs 4.22 lakh to Rs 6.38 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi).
MSIL (Maruti Suzuki India Limited) has invested Rs 500 Crores to built completely new platform for new Maruti Swift. The new Maruti Swift is available with both petrol and diesel engine options.

The petrol version of Maruti Swift is equipped with the 1.2L, 1197cc K Series petrol engine powered with the VVT (Variable Valve Timing) to deliver better performance. The new engine can deliver the maximum power of 87 PS along with the 113 Nm of maximum torque. The mileage of the new Maruti Swift petrol is also increased, now it can deliver 18.6 kmpl mileage.
The new Maruti Swift Diesel is equipped with the same 1.3L, 1248cc, DDiS diesel engine that delivers the maximum power of 75PS with the 190 Nm of maximum torque. But the mileage of Maruti Swift diesel is also increased and the diesel car can give the optimum mileage of 22.9 kmpl.

The new Maruti Swift has got an array of new features on its exteriors and interiors to make the car more stylish, sporty and comfy.
The company is also planning to launch the new version of its most popular sedan model Maruti Swift Dzire in next few months. The new Maruti Swift Dzire will be built on the same new Swift’s platform.

I preferred new model and wish to change with my old model swift. New Maruti Swift 2011 which is more comfort that older one and if priced will remained @ low budgeted than it stands on top level comparatively with other brands, there is not doubt about it.
