New Mitsubishi Montero launched with new features
Hindustan Motors (HM), India’s well recognized automotive unit has launched the revamped version of its popular crossover, Mitsubishi Montero with many additional features and upgraded outfit. The facelifted Montero 2012 has got all new muscular colored key front bumpers, entirely new chrome radiator grille, new trimming on power window panel and new stitch pattern on the leather upholstery. With these upgradations, the luxury crossover, Montero 2012 looks more refreshed and seductive. Moreover, this off-roader is available in three exciting colors i.e. solid white, black mica and cool silver metallic.

Furthermore, Montero has got the same 3.2 liter DOHC diesel engine with turbocharger and intercooler that enables this mean machine to churn peak power of 202 PS at 3800 rpm and maximum torque of 441 Nm at2000 rpm.

Recently, the auto-giant, HM introduced the Pajero Sport and Outlander 2012, and now the further addition of 2012 will surely make it more stable in the luxury crossover segment. Hindustan Motors Limited, CK Birla Group owned automobile venture was established pre-independence at Port Okha in Gujarat. Later on in 1948, the operations of the company moved to Uttarpara, West Bengal. Here the company started with the production of its iconic sedan, the Ambassador. In 1998 HM had singed technical collaboration with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation of Japan. Under this contract, the company carries production and marketing activities for premium Mitsubishi passenger cars from its facility located in Tiruvallur and Chennai corporate office respectively. In 1998, Mitsubishi Lancer was the first Mitsubishi product to be launched on the domestic shores and later on followed the Pajero in 2002, the Cedia in 2006, the Montero in 2006, the Outlander in 2008 and the Lancer Evolution X in 2010. Recently, in March 2012, the company introduced all classy Pajero Sport SUV on the Indian shores.
