New Porshe Boxster showcased at Detroit Auto Show
The most prestigious and happening 2012 Detroit International Auto Show has sparkling presentation of various cars from entry-level to next-generation cars to lure the car enthusiasts. The entire atmosphere of the event sizzled by the showcase of brand new & highly-sophisticated ‘2013 Porsche Boxster’, admired for its sexy looks, powerful engine and fuel efficiency.
This high-end luxury is too hot at looks, which has been designed on new platform. It is relatively lighter and huge than its ancestor. The large 20 inches wheels, latest electro mechanical power steering and mid-engine alignment are the significant alterations. Its wider track, shorter overhangs and square-shaped headlights have great resemblance to the upcoming 981 Spyder hybrid supercar.

Whereas, it’s spacious interior with fully electric cabin top is inspired by the Panamera and Cayenne. The Porsche Boxster & sportier Porsche Boxster S will soon be available for the buyers. Both the variants comes powered with the highly-advanced flat-six engines with direct fuel injection, which is 15% more fuel efficient than its previous version.

The electrical system recuperation, an engine start-stop function and thermal management are the fuel efficiency boosters. The sportier Boxster S equips a powerful 3.4 litre engine offering the best power of 315hp. It covers 0-60 mph in just 4.7 seconds with PDK. The 2013 Porsche Boxster hearts a 2.7 litre engine churning maximum power of 265hp with acceleration of 0-60 miles per hour in 5.4 seconds.

It will be available with optional six-speed manual transmission or seven-speed PDK dual clutch. The handling is pretty impressive having PTV (Porsche Torque Vectoring) with a mechanical rear sided axle differential lock and an optional Sport Chrono Package.
The exclusively new Porsche Boxster 2013 will be carrying the price tag of $49,500 (base model) to $60,900 (sportier Boxster S), will arrive in summers.
