New Soft Roaders and MPV’s part of M&M strategy for coming two years

The domestic car making company Mahindra % Mahindra is working on bringing few new SUV’s and MPV’s in Indian car market in coming future.  According to reports received from sources of company all the upcoming vehicles will be launched to compete against established vehicles launched by its competitors company for instance MSIL, Renault and Ford.
 
In recent times Indian car market has witnessed huge demand of SUV’s especially Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport which are specifically designed according to Indian roads and dominate the SUV segment in Indian car market.  Going through the success enjoyed by these vehicles M&M also intends to wash its hands in flowing water. Established car manufacturing companies like MSIL, Renault, Fiat, Honda, Nissan etc have already started working in this direction and are introducing new fleet of vehicles at regular intervals.
 
According to reports M&M is developing MPVs for family purpose which will be developed on completely new design and giving new definition to vehicles. Company has already mentioned that it will deliver qualitative products to its customers. Moving a step ahead company’s senior management has already approved the designs of its upcoming MPV’s.  The MPV’s developed by company will be based on Ssangyong X100 platform. It is reported that company is working on bringing new Xylo and will soon unveil it in coming months. Apart from this other MPV which will be based on W201 platform will be introduced in the Indian car market will make their debut in 2015-2016.
 
The upcoming SUVs codenamed as S101 and S102 from company will be based on completely new platform and are speculated to be offered with price tag falling in range of Rs. 4.5 lakh to Rs 8.5 lakh. Apart from this other SUV codenamed as U301 which will carry its architecture from Bolero will be further introduced in company’s fleet will touch Indian Roads in coming two years.
