New SUV From Audi To Be Christened As Q9
It is reported that the German luxurious car maker Audi is speculating to extend the family and introduce a new SUV in its portfolio that would be christened as Q9. Prior to this the German car maker had unveiled Q8 SUV in Shenzhen China. The proposed SUV is expected to be placed above the Q8 SUV. Commenting about the launch of Q9, Mr. Rupert Stadler, Former CEO Audi, kept on ignoring the possibilities of introducing the new SUV, in his words,. However, when the same question was asked from Mr. Marc Lichte, Chief, Audi Design, said, “We have so many ideas, so many ideas...”
According to the sources of company there is a requirement of introducing a boxy and luxurious SUV to stay in the competition with the manufacturers like Range Rover. Once the SUV is confirmed by the management of German car maker it is believed to be developed on the same platform that was used for developing Q8, Lamborghini Urus, and Porsche Cayenne. Moving ahead Mr. Stadler confirmed to bring the plug-in hybrid version of Q8 followed by its high performing RS version. The Q8 SUV is expected to make its debut in the Indian car market sometimes during 2019. With Q9 believed to emerge as a tough contender to Range Rover, it will be equipped with latest technical and luxurious features.
Speaking about the other launches Mr. Stadler said, that company doesn’t have any plan to introduce a new entry-level under the Q2 and Q1 flagship, because remarkable features already existing in Q2 SUV.
