New Tata Aria on its way, launch next year

The Tata Aria night have inspired and infused new life into the Tata Safari in the form of Tata Storme but it itself is not gaining momentum. This is the reason why the car maker is aggressively thinking of launching a makeover of the safe in 2013 in order to improve things. The relaunch is considered as necessary as Aria being in the luxury SUV category is not picking up sales and it is worrying Tata. Aria and Tata Nano have the almost same story that despite the mammoth efforts by the car maker, these cars are not able to put up the expected numbers on the sales chart. So what could be ailing Aria, is it the Aria price or is it the presence of other competitors that is putting resistance to it.

The relaunch of the Aria is expected to invite many changes on the big SUV and as per the latest information, it will be over and above the bumper, grille type changes. Now if the car maker is thinking of the most serious makeover after almost two years of the Aria launch, it will be highly welcomed. Reports also suggest that Tata will be playing the price correction trick to woo customers and attain the expected sales growth of this SUV. Currently, the Aria price starts at Rs 9.95 lakh and at this price the Tata Safari EX model also starts. Thus there is little difference between these two and this might be causing problem as people have seen and tested Safari than Aria  and thus a sway towards Safari is obvious.

Though Safari has little what the Aria offers in abundance such as space and comfort besides driving pleasure but it is the price that could be resulting in two of these models fighting among themselves and confusing the car buyer. Thus a price consolidation as well as some things new on the Aria will create a momentum in sales of the Tata car.
