New Toyota Auris launched

Toyota Japan has launched the facelift of the compact hatchback named Toyota Auris. This small car is expected to bring about changes in the Japanese and European markets for which it has been specifically designed and to these markets it will be launched. Meanwhile, Toyota India could increase the price of it best selling Toyota Innova, Toyota Etios and Toyota Etios Liva by 1.5 percent starting next month. This is expected to be the result of the weakening rupee value that has increased the input cost of the Toyota cars and hence the car maker has to compensate it with the increase in price of cars.

The new car launch by Toyota Japan is seen as a major development and it is said that it will certainly bring about a change in the way people used to look at small cars specially in Europe if not in Japan. The Auris though has not been projected to be launched in India, but experts believe that the car could see Indian turf as well in the near future. In Japan, the car will be sold through the Netz dealer network. As per the information regarding the new Toyota hatchback, it is available in seven exciting colors and on the inside there will be two viz. black and greige. Giving a close look at the car gives an impression as if a stretched Etios Liva or a Toyota designed Hyundai i30 is standing in front.

As part of other features, the Auris has an all glass roof to make the interior fresh always with sunlight. The glass roof is panoramic as it stretches to the rear seats as well. Another feature of the interiors of this car is that the legroom at the rear has been increased by decreasing the width of the back rest of the rear seats. There are a lot of safety features that adorn the car and make it virtually indestructible and these include impact absorbing front area, airbags that are SRS type.
