New Toyota Land Cruiser launched, may come at Auto Expo
A full sized serious off-roader around the globe since 1951 that invaded the Indian SUV segment in 2009, the Toyota Land Cruiser will don an all-new face-lifted appearance when it is unveiled at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The broad-shouldered SUV have received some upgrades with the front now posing the attitude of Lexus LX along with some exterior changes along with a few amends at the instrument panel in the interior compartment of the vehicle. The Toyota vehicle that is also known as 200 series will be seen outfitted with some technological additions as well apart from the usual elements that is the legendary Land Cruiser known for. The genuine SUV is expected to be priced roughly at INR 1, 08, 00,000 onwards.

The new Land Cruiser is launched and available in Japan. However, the global launch including India will be done next year. In the face-lifted 10th generation Land Cruiser one will find a larger body colored bumper that has new spherical fog lamps engraved into it together with the bigger redesigned headlamps that are combined with the LED strips. The front-grille has four to five slats that are of two-inch along with brighter tail lamps that have moved a bit higher at the rear for improved visibility from behind. For extra safety the turn indicators have been rested on the OVRMs as well, the New Land Cruiser becomes sturdier with the incorporation of 18-inch and 20-inch alloy wheel available as choice.

The main attraction in the interior is the inclusion of present-day TFT screen-touch display at the dashboard along with new shades and quality trim fabric used in the interiors of the off-roader. The technological upgrade of the SUV comprise of Multi-Terrain Select system (MTS) now has an advanced feature of ‘Crawl Control’ in conjunction with a unique Turn-Assist feature for reduced turn radius of the vehicle.
