New York Motor Show 2014: Expected hidden jewels
The curtain of upcoming New York Motor Show 2014 is yet to be raised by it has started grabbing attention of car enthusiasts throughout the world. The Motor show is scheduled to begin from April 16, 2014 but people have started making speculations about the major attractions which will be showcased by major car makers during the show. Although the picture will get clear only after the show commences but depending upon the speculations of all segments we are bringing the expected attractions of New York Motor Show quite before its commencement.
Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: German luxurious car maker had recently unveiled the S-Class coupe at various international platform and will launch the saloon sedan by the end of this year. Enriched with AMG twin turbocharged 5.5 litre V8 engine churning the power of 577 bhp the car is impinged with huge fleet of features mainly plush seats and new mechanics which facilitates the driver to drive smoothly turn sedan in intense corners.
Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept: The British car maker Land Rover will showcase the family of its Discovery concept cars during the show. These cars will be launched in global market sometimes during the next year. The upcoming series of cars has already made every car aspirant excited towards them due to abandon of design developed for 3 and 4 members of Discovery concept. The newly designed models of family are embellished with various luxurious features offered in exteriors and interiors of these cars. The first member which will be launched in global market will replace the existing Freelander from global market.
BMW X4: Scheduled to be launch in July this year, the forthcoming sedan BMW X4 will explore the fleet of German car maker’s SUV’s to next height. The new sedan is merger of its elder sibling X3 and X6 in terms of engine configuration and style. It carries engine from X3 and its looks from X6. Once launched in international market the SUV will compete against Range Rove Evoque and Porsche Macan.
BMW M4 convertible: After showcasing BMW M3 sedan and M4 coupe in Detroit Motor show concluded earlier this year, German luxurious car maker has still some new jewel hidden in its bag. The generation next convertible M4 carries the engine configuration of 3.0 litre straight six engine borrowed from M3 and M4, developing the power of 425 bhp and torque of 56.13 kgm.
Nissan Murano: In simple words Nissan Murano can be considered as futuristic concept of cars by Japanese auto giant. According to sources of company the upcoming model is “halo vehicle” of Nissan’s brand. The major attraction of Murano are headlights which are forwarded from Resonance 2013 concept.
Mazda MX-5: Another Japanese international car maker Mazda is rumored to showcase the new MX-5 during the upcoming auto show. According to reports received from sources the two seater sporty vehicle will be the major attraction of Japanese car maker. Company will release it for sale from next year, it will energized with SkyActiv petrol engine offered with two engine options of 1.5 litre and 2.0 litre.
