Nissan announces slash in its prices
Just a day after Finance Minister announced decline in excise duty of cars in Interim Budget for this year, Nissan India announced to decrease the price of its vehicles to provide the benefit offered by the government. The percent of decline in cost of vehicles will vary from 4% to 6% and will be applicable on Micr Active, Micra, Sunny, Evalia, Terrano, and Teana and will be active from immediate effect.
Announcing the decline in cost of cars Mr. Kenichiro Yomura, President, Nissan Operations said, the decline in excise duty by government is an appreciating step by government for Indian auto industry which at present is struggling and going through its worst phase. He also added that company is happy to offer 100% benefit of this announcement to its customers.
