Nissan Evalia to undergo major cosmetic changes
Going through the disappointing performance of Evalia MPV, Japanese auto giant has decided to make major cosmetic changes in the vehicle so as to make its presence strong in Indian car market. Company had launched Evalia MPV in September 2012 but did not succeed in making its recognition among Indian buyers due to typical design and looks. The efforts made by company to enhance its looks also did not help the MPV to grab the attention from Indian buyers.

It is reported that company is working on bringing the facelift version of Evalia in Indian car market sometimes by the end of this year. However these cosmetic changes will be made on improving the looks and design of the vehicle and will continue with same existing 1.5 litre diesel engine coated with 5 speed manual transmission system.
Talking about the decision of refreshing Evalia, Mr. Kenichiro Yomura, President, Nissan Motors said that the MPV will undergo vast changes which will give it completely a new look. However on the question about the changes which will be introduced he did not revealed any information and only said that these changes would be introduced after getting feedback from the customers. Besides refreshed Evalia company is also speculating to launch facelift version of its highly appreciated sedan Sunny.
