Nissan Kicks Launch Confirmed in 2018

With increasing shift of car enthusiasts towards SUV’s all car makers are trying their fortunate to strengthen their roots in segment. The new name to join the bandwagon is Japanese car maker Nissan which is going to launch its proposed crossover SUV Kicks in Indian car market during the first quarter of 2018. The crossover was launched last year by the car marker as the official automobile of the Summer Olympics in the Rio de Janeiro. In the Indian car market it will launched against Renault Captur to be launched by Nissan’s global partner Renaul in India, and Mahindra XUV 500. The India bound Nissan Kicks will continue with the same design as launched in the Brazilian market.

Under the hood Kicks will be empowered with the same 1.5 litre K9K diesel engine with same gearbox system that is offered in Nissan Terrrano and proposed compact SUV Captur from Renault. As far as designing of Kicks is concerned in the international market it continue the car maker’s conventional V platform design philosophy, whereas in Indian car market it will be developed on Mo platform that at present is followed on manufacturing Duster, Lodgy and upcoming Captur from French car maker Renault.

As far as other features are concerned it is believed that Kicks will be embellished with lots of additional features that are not offered in Terrano. Some of the notable features will include seven inch touchscreen infotainment system with carplay and android auto connectivity, automatic climate control, digital instrument cluster and many more.
