Nissan Kicks Slated For Launch In January 2019
The Kicks SUV from Japanese car maker Nissan Motors has been in rumors since last few months, especially after the carmaker unveiled it in the Brazilian car market. Now, according to recent reports, the SUV is getting ready to make its debut in the Indian car market during the month of January 2019. After launch in India, the SUV is expected to be offered with the price tag in the range of Rs. 11 lakh to Rs. 16 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete against Renault Captur and Hyundai Creta. It is reported that the Indian version of Kicks will be quite different from its version launched in the International market.
Commenting upon the change in the design of Kicks as compared to its avatar in the international market, the sources of company said that it will be according to the Indian car market. The interior of Indian Kicks will be more spacious and embellished with remarkable features. It is believed that the launch of Kicks will play an important role in enhancing the sales of Japanese car maker in India.
Apart from offering distinctive features inside cabin, the carmaker is also focusing on making the SUV more alluring to grab the attention of Indian buyers. It will be offered in both petrol and diesel variants and mated with manual gear transmission system along with an option of an automatic transmission system. The Indian version is believed to generate different power and torque results as compared to its international version.
